Jalapeño Peppers are the Best Peppers

Jalapeño peppers are the best peppers. Try to convince us otherwise!
What’s not to love? Registering between 2,500 and 8,000 units on the Scoville Scale, these Mexican peppers strike a perfect balance between mild and spicy, adding a deliciously warm and green flavor to all sorts of dishes.

Jalapeños are truly a versatile pepper, lending their zesty flavor to cookies, breads, cocktails, sauces, pickles, and more. And we’ve got you covered regardless of whether or not they’re in season:

Dried Jalapeño Chiles in diced or powder form are perfect for cooler weather cooking. Add them to soups and stews, breads, and southwestern dishes. The powder will pack a bit more oomph than the diced variety, so use conservatively.

Our new Jalapeño Lime White Balsamic Vinegar is perfect all year round. Try using it as a marinade for fish, chicken, and pork before heading to the grill. Or create a tasty vinaigrette by combining it with one of our infused olive oils (Basil Infused and Blood Orange Fused olive oils are good choices). A drizzle also adds depth to salsa, pico de gallo, fresh fruit, margaritas, and homemade sauces.

Like hot sauces? For a jalapeño-y hot sauce, try a bottle of Forbidden Fruit or Triple Inferno flavored Hell Raising Hot Sauces.
